TechUK President’s Awards 2024
We’re delighted that our CEO Andy was shortlisted for Tech UK’s President Awards 2024 in the Economy category. This celebrates people who, say Tech UK, “through technology, have enabled improvements, mitigated risk, protected funds, facilitated advancements in financial planning and supported the growth of the economy”.
Andy didn’t make the final spot (many congratulations to Toby Jones!) But he says “it was a fantastic honour to be shortlisted, and it was great to be surrounded by so many innovators and entrepreneurs in the tech sector”.
Some of the team went along, and enjoyed seeing Andy’s face in the brochure and on the big screen, and then him on stage with all the shortlisted candidates on the night.

An employee who has been using LinkSpace for some time at the MOD to keep track of non-operational events told John:
It’s a quick and easy way to know what is happening at any given time, and it’s really configurable to look at just the bits you need. Previously, when doing budgets, people were keeping individual spreadsheets, so you were having to wait for them to come back from leave and could never look back and see the history. This works so much better.
A newer user of LinkSpace told John that it’s:
highly configurable, and its ability to manipulate data is good.

About our service
We like to think we provide a personal, friendly service, with real people at the end of the phone, and that seems to have been reflected in the notes we’ve received lately. These messages were sent to John, our COO, who is known as being impeccably polite, always kind and calm, and with a self-deprecating sense of humour that puts everyone at ease. He has taught Oliver and Dave all of the details of LinkSpace recently in the office in Yeovil who have also been on hand with client requests.
Hi John, I would just like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for the extra mile you and Oliver have gone for us. … (I understand) that you both worked incredibly late on a Friday night to test and resolve issues, and I know you had to do so again recently to deploy time-based policy changes.
This is very much appreciated by me, and the team; and we were big fans of Ctrl O before all this support but even more so now.
